2. Battery Premium Service

Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH offers to repair or replace products if it can be verified to the satisfaction of the Bosch Service Centre or an Authorised Service Centre that the deficiencies were caused by a material or manufacturing defect or as a result of qualifying wear and tear within the Qualifying Period. For the purposes of these conditions, qualifying wear and tear shall mean where the battery is yielding less than 70% of its capacity as determined by Bosch in its sole discretion.

Defects recognised by us as being covered by the Battery Premium Service shall either be repaired, or replaced with a product in perfect working order (this may be a later model) free of charge. Replaced products or parts shall become the property of Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH.

Any products received by us with defects not covered by the Battery Premium Service may still be repairable and an estimate will be issued for the repair. Should you choose to accept the repair or require a return of the product, you must do so within 30 days of the date of the estimate or other notification. If we do not hear from you, the product will be scrapped at no cost to you. The return of products where the defect is not covered by the Battery Premium Service will be at your sole cost and expense.

  • when there have been more than three claims or demands for Battery Premium Service for the same type of fault /defect which has been recorded for a certain product

(2) The Battery Premium Service does not cover:

7. Closing provisions; Relation to other claims

  • Your warranty claim based on your sales contract with the retailer, including your statutory rights, shall not be affected by this program.
  • Using the Battery Premium Service neither extends nor renews the statutory warranty period or any voluntary Bosch warranty for the tool, the battery or thecharger.
  • Services provided under the Battery Premium Service do not lengthen or renew the Qualifying Period for the products.
